I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Pudding mixture
  1. Preheat oven for 15 - 20 mins at 160 degrees Celsius (fanforced) or 170 degrees Celsius (non fan forced)

    All steps require MC

    1) Place 110g of Raw Sugar into mixing bowl and mill for 10sec / Spd 10
    *scrape down sides
    2) Add 60g of butter and 1tsp of vanilla extract to mixing bowl, combine 30sec / spd 5
    *scrape down sides
    3) add egg to mixing bowl and mix for
    7sec / Spd 3
    *scrape down sides
    4) add 150g of self-raising flour and 25g of cocoa powder, mix for 12sec / Spd 3
    *scrape down sides
    5) add 125g of full cream milk and final mix for 20sec / Spd 3.

Transfer mixture to casserole / baking dish and spread evenly.
    I used a dish measuring 19cm x 14cm x 7cm.
  2. Chocolate Sauce
  3. 1) Evenly sprinkle 1/2-1/3 cup of white sugar over the pudding mixture and repeat with 2.5tbsp of cocoa powder.

    2) Pour 120g of hot water evenly over mixture

    3) place into preheated oven for 40 minutes.
to check if it's cooked, insert a skewer into various areas - if it comes out clean, it's cooked. If it requires further cooking, check every Few minutes for readiness so the sauce does not dry up.

Tip

For shallower dishes than described, decrease cooking time accordingly.
Long and shallow dishes of approximately 25x25x3cm will only need to cook for approximately 25-30 mins.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
