Ingredients
Chicken and Spinach Lasagna
- 300 g Tasty cheese
- 50 g olive oil
- 200 g onions, quartered
- 1000 g chicken breast fillets, skinless-cut in 3 cm pieces
- 400 g canned diced tomatoes
- 100 g white wine
- 2 teaspoons Vegetable stock paste
- 2 level teaspoons salt
- 2 heaped tsp dried mixed herbs
- 8 sheets fresh lasagne sheets
- 400 g Frozen spinach, thawed,drained and squeezed
BECHAMEL
- 1 litres full cream milk
- 80 g plain flour
- 40 g Butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoons salt

- Preheat ocen 180 deg C
FOR TM31 uses you will need to reduce chicken to 800g
1. Place 300g Tasty Cheese into bowl and grate 5 sec/speed 8. Transfer to a bowl and set aside
2. Place onions and oil into bowl and chop 2 sec/speed 5. Scrape down the sides and cook for 7 min/120 deg C/speed 1
3. Add diced chicken, tomatoes, wine, Veg stock paste, salt, spinach, mixed herbs and chop 5 sec/speed 6, scrape down the sides and then cook for 15 min/Varoma/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed"Gentle stir setting"
4. Grease baking dish approx 25x30x6 and begin assembling
layer of chicken mince, scatter some cheese and layer sheets of lasagna to cover. Repeat 2-3 times finishing with layer of lasagna sheets.
Wash and dry bowl
BECHAMEL
1. Add all the ingredients to bowl and cook for 12 min/100 deg C/speed 4. Pour over lasagna sheets and scatter remaining cheese over the top. Place in the oven and cook for approx 30-40 min or until golden brown
2. Take out of oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes then cut into 12 squares and serve with salad
Tip
You can add 100g of grated Parmesan cheese to the Tasty cheese for added flavour
You can use Chicken mince if preferred and skip chopping process, go direct to cooking 15 min

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
