Tip

Add any veggies you like when blending up the veggies in the first step on the meat sauce - it's a great way to get veggies into you kids.

I sometimes use a slotted spoon with holes if the sauce seems to runny, depends how you like.

There should be plenty of left over sauce to use for spagettii.

I also slice up and freeze portions for quick microwave meals for work.

    Best lasagne!
I don't like a strong tomato taste and was worried, but this was subtle and fantastic flavor. Will be my go-to recipe!
Made so I much I have a freezer full of left-overs.
    Thanks you

This was nice, thank you.  My family liked our lasagne better though. It might of been because I used mozzarella instead of tasty cheese as I had a lot to use up.

Thank you for a lovely recipe. I've since made it again with lots of my own variations by way of different mixed, italian & other herbs, home made sauces, relish & minces.  I love that your recipe fits in easily with whatever vegies are in the fridge.  I like that your bechamel sauce is on the same page too.  That's very helpful & convenient. This one's a hit well done.  It looks as great as it tastes!  Thank you.

This is an amazing recipe that lasts at least 2 - 3 nights  - there's always some in our freezer! My kids now request lasagne for dinner most nights and always have seconds! Thank you for sharing!

A really tasty lasagne! Mine was still a little sloppy after resting for 15 minutes, but was perfect the next day. Next time I will omit the sugar (it was a little sweet for our tastes) and the tasty cheese slices (it made the lasagne a little oily for our tastes, but that may also have been the cheese I used). Good amount of bechamel sauce that made for a really substantial layer! Thanks for sharing!

I made the béchamel sauce to go on a MOUSAKKA recipe. It was very runny so I added a couple of eggs. It went through the MOUSAKKA rather than sit on top. maybe I should have let it cool first. This was my first attempt of béchamel in the Thermomix.

Best homemade lasagne I've ever had. I even use this sauce recipe as my bolognese when we have pasta. My family really enjoyed it tmrc_emoticons.)
