Ingredients

  • 500 gram Minced beef
  • 2 Beef stock cubes, Oxo
  • 1 onion, Chopped in half
  • 2 heaped tablespoons Worstershire sauce, Or to taste
  • 2 --- carrot sliced
  • 1 level teaspoon Evoo
  • 2 heaped tablespoons cornflour, Add more if necessary, mixed with a little water
  • 100 water, Or less, depending on how thick you like it

  1. place halved onion into bowl, cook on varoma with a dash of olive oil for 4 minutes without mc Speed 2.

    put mince into bowl and cook for 5 minutes 100 degrees Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2.

    add carrots, worstershire sauce, water(mixed with cornflour) and oxo cubes into bowl and cook 100 degrees for 8 minutes, speed Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"  Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"

    while mince mix is cooking cook mashed potatoes and then place mince mix into dish and top with mash. Place into 180 degree oven for 20 mins or until golden brown.

Tip

You can also add grated tasty cheese to top of potato or through mash prior to putting into oven. Gives it a nice crunchy top which kids love.

    Looks good from the start but the instructions are not in a good order and the machine won't chop up carrot at speed 2 or if the mince is already in there. Really need to do the onions and carrot before the mince goes in.
    Flavour was good but the consistency was really quite runny
