Ingredients

Thai Chicken Burgers

  • 2 chicken breast fillets, Skin Off
  • 1/3 bunch coriander leaf
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Seasame oil
  • 2 tablespoon Sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoon pickled ginger
  • 4-5 leaves Kaffir lime leaves
  • 3 slices bread
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoon peanut oil, (for shallow frying)

Recipe's preparation

    Chopping Herbs
  1. Add Kaffir Lime Leaves, Coriander & Pickled ginger to mixing bowl. Chop speed 8 for 5 seconds. set aside. No need to wash out bowl

  2. Breadcrumbs
  3. Place bread into mixing bowl & turbo 1 sec, 2-3 times until breadcrumbs. Set aside.

  4. Chicken Mince
  5. Place Chicken fillets into mixing bowl & Turbo 1 sec, 4-5 times until minced.

  6. Forming Burgers
  7. Add all remaining ingredients including herbs and breadcrumbs (reserving some for crumbing) to the mixing bowl. Mix 10 sec, speed 3 or until all ingredients are mixed evenly. Form 12 burgers. Crumb with reserved breadcrumbs. Shallow Fry for 5 min each side or until cooked

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
