This is truely one of my absolute favourite recipes. We add garlic (with the onion step 1) and only use bacon. A true favourite in our household. Absolutely love this, thank you!
Very tasty. Doubled everything, added 4 garlic cloves, rice basket on top for all cooking steps.

Amazing! My first dinner cooked in my thermo and everyone loved it. My fussy teen had seconds and ate onion and didn't even realise it, my mum (who eats very little) had seconds, husband had seconds, the youngest liked it and there is left over for tomorrow. This is going on the dinner menu as a regular!
Perfect recipe!
This recipe was devine and super easy! I also added 2 cloves of garlic at step one and cooked the recipe for 18min total with 50g added boiling water. Perfect consistency! I also cooked mine with tha MC off which maybe made a difference.
Nice and easy, add some parmesan cheese, beautiful
Not bad for the time it too and I had all the ingredients. Used coconut cream in place of thickened cream as that's all I had. Added 50gms of extra water and cooked 3 minutes longer.
Kids loved it!
Not sure what I did wrong, but it's certainly not as creamy as the picture. I did add veg, but it seemed to take forever to cook. I had to repeate the cooking process three times! The pasta was just too hard otherwise. And the chicken has shredded. Think I'll find a different recipe. Tastes ok, but not the consistency I'd like.
Live, Laugh. Love. Eat!
not sure what the heck i did but it did not turn out the way it is in the picture at all. think i'll try a different one next time
So easy and we all loved it, even mr fussy!
Delicious. Have made lots of carbonara's in the past and this one is definitely the best. Even miss fussy 5 tried and like it. Can see it being a regular meal. Took advice and added 60g extra water. It was perfect. Thanks
