Pasta with spicy tomato sauce
- 1200 g tomatoes, quartered and peeled
- 50 g spring onions, in pieces
- 2 cloves garlic
- 40 g olive oil
- 160 g Pitted black olives, sliced
- 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded, whole
- 50 g Dry Red Wine
- 3 dried bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt, and more for boiling spaghetti
- 1/2 tsp pepper, ground
- 500 g spaghetti
- 1.5 litres water, for cooking spaghetti
- 3 stalks fresh basil, leaves only
- 40 g olive oil

- place a large bowl on mixing bowl lid, weigh in tomatoes and set aside. Cover with boiling water.
place spring onions into mixing bowl. Add garlic cloves.
Chop 3s at speed 6. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
Add 40g olive oil. Place splash guard on mixing bowl lid.
Cook 3 min./ Varoma/ speed 1"Counter-clockwise operation"
Quarter tomatoes and peel.
Add tomotoes to mixing bowl. Put measuring cup into mixing bowl lid and chop 10s speed 4.5.
Put splash guard on mixing bowl lid and cook 10 min./ 100°C/ speed 1.5 "Counter-clockwise operation" .
Add 160g sliced pitted black olives.
Add deseeded fresh red chili.
Add 50g dry red wine.
Add 3 dried bay leaves.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Put measuring cup into mixing bowl lid and mix 10s / speed 3.5"Counter-clockwise operation" .
Put splash guard on mixing bowl lid and cook 15 min. / 100°C/ speed 1.0"Counter-clockwise operation" .
Meanwhile cook the spaghetti on the stove according to packet instructions.
Remove bay leaves and chili.
Serve Spaghetti with spicy tomato sauce garnished with fresh basil leaves.

Spicy tomato sauce can be frozen.
