- Chop 1.2kg capsicum roughly and deseed, place in bowl,"Closed lid" chop for 3-5 seconds speed 7 with the aid of the spatula.
- Add remaining ingredients"Closed lid" . Add splatter guard or steaming basket instead of MC and cook 55 minutes Varoma temp, speed 2.5 in reverse"Counter-clockwise operation" . If you like it smoother you can blend for 10 seconds speed 8 with the MC on.
Place in hot jars and seal with lid. Keeps well, refrigerate once opened.
1.2kg Red capsicum
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar
75g sweet chilli sauce
1/2 teaspoon himalayan or celtic sea salt.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. I love this recipe. I made it back in April 2023 and 4x the recipe again today. It's a great recipe to use up extra capsicums without also needing the usual onions apples etc
