heat 5 minutes / 50 deg / speed 2 until melted.

When half set use a knife to gently stir the butter and blend in any syrup
which has settled to the bottom.
Maple Butter
Tip
Once set the butter will have a soft, fudge like consistency.
You can make fresh butter and continue on with this recipe
(rinse the butter well before adding syrup and cooking) or use pre-made butter.
By melting the syrup and butter together the flavour is stonger than just stirring maple syrup through butter. You can also use any spice (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cardamom are nice) or a combination for extra flavour.
lovely on Pumpkin scones, pancakes or toast.

Absolutely Delicious!
This maple butter is so quick and easy. We love it on these fluffy pancakes:

Ymmy on pumpkin scones.
Really easy. I made a 1/4 serving.
Delicious. I paired this with both pumpkin scones and banana bread and it works well with both.
I also quartered the recipe. Will definitely make again in future.
I quartered the recipe. It's delicious! And I served them with one of the pumpkin scone recipes on this site. Sooooo good! My guests enjoyed trying on normal scones as well as homemade sour dough bread that they brought over. Huge success! Thanks for sharing!
Yum. Was perfect on banana bread. I quartered the recipe because I didn't need 500gms of it- that would be asking for trouble!
I want to marry this butter!
