I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease and line a slice tin with baking paper - extending above the long sides slightly. My tin measures 17 x 28cm.
Add butter, golden syrup and sugar to the Tmx bowl and melt 100 degrees, 3 minutes, speed 1.
Add bicarb soda to melted butter mixture and combine speed 3, 5 seconds.
Add all other ingredients and mix together reverse, speed 2, 20 seconds.
Press into prepared tin and bake for 20 minutes until golden on the top and the edges are just coming away from the sides of the tin.
Let cool in the tin for 15 minutes and then lift out of the tin (use the baking paper to lift it out).
Cut into 10 bars, or 16 squares.

Lovely as is ....however, I chopped milk chocolated and dried cranberries together in the thermo abd added through with the flour ect. Chewy deliciousness 😋
Has anyone used gluten free flour?
Well.. thank you! No more bought museli bars for my children's lunchboxes - this is a winner. Great as is but such a good base to add whatever to. Kids added choc chips the other day which I found a little sweet but was fun to try. I'll be adding cranberries/sultanas/apple etc.
So good, thank you.
Delicious 🤤
Doubled the recipe. So quick and easy.
soft and crunchy
highly recommend
Made this twice and it is just soooo delicious. Drizzled melted chocolate over it too. Irresistible 👍
Simple and tasty! Enjoyed by the whole family.
So easy and tasty.
Should it be 125g butter, as 152g seems like a strange amount? I might try it with less butter and see how it goes!
