I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place 150g dessicated coconut in the bowl. Stir on speed 8 for 10-15 seconds. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat until butter has formed. Remove from bowl for use later.
Add 1 cinnamon stick to the bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 8 or until ground to your desired consistency.
Add the apples and a pinch of sea salt. In closed lid position "Closed lid" press turbo 3-4 times until apples are chopped to your desired consistency. (I think this is great with a few chunky pieces!).
Add 40g coconut oil and cook for 10 minutes at 80 degrees on speed 1 "Counter-clockwise operation" .
Add reserved coconut butter to the bowl and cook for a further 3 minutes at 80 degrees on speed 1 "Counter-clockwise operation" .
Press mixture into the bottom half of a silicone muffin tray (only fill half way at the most). Place in refridgerator or freezer (if you are impatient like me!) until set. This recipe makes 10-12 bites depending on how thick you want them.
