Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees C.

(If you need to mill your sugar or chop your chocolate in the TM, remember to do this before first!)

Place flour, salt, sugar and butter into TM bowl and mix for 5 secs on speed 8.

Add egg and milk. Mix on Interval speed for 20 seconds. Add chocolate and berries through hole in the lid and continue to mix on Interval for a few seconds or until just combined. You should have a soft, purple-streaked dough.

Turn onto floured board and pat into a rectangle approximately 3cm thick. Cut into 8 and place well apart on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the tops lightly with a little extra milk.

Place in oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until well risen and golden brown.

These are really yummy! Mixture seemed quite wet when I divided them but they baked well. Will definitely make these again. Thanks  tmrc_emoticons.)

I make these all the time!  Bit harder to incorporate the berries and choc when I double the mix so I mix them on the mat before dividing them.  Everyone raves about them.  Thanks for posting  tmrc_emoticons.)

I look forward to trying this when I get my Thermomix next week. Seems simple enough for a beginner. I will try not to leave on interval speed too long, thanks for the warning 'nornor'.

    YUMMO!

these were a really big hit with my vissies.

    Two problems:

*My scones truned out purple as I left the TM on interval speed for too long. tmrc_emoticons.J) Still, it was a nice flavour.

*Were a bit crumbly when cutting

Overall, Very nice tmrc_emoticons.p tmrc_emoticons.;) Big Smile
