- 1/ Set scales and weigh sugar and vinegar into TM bowl.
2/ Cook for 25 mins / Varoma temp / speed 2 with MC removed and simmer basket in its place.
Tip
A sweet/tart finishing sauce ideal for drizzling over salad or serving with bread and olive oil. Also a great flavor match with dessert dishes featuring berries. So easy in the Thermomix – no stirring needed and you leave it unattended knowing it won’t burn or stick.[/i]

I plan on doubling the ingedients, and I'm wondering if anyone adds any other ingredients to this?? Thanks
If you halved the recipe what should the cooking time be?
eggplant:love to know this one too...
Melanie_S: Yes I doubled the recipe, but I dont think I added any extra time. I cant remember, sorry. If I did add any extra time it would have only been a couple extra minutes.
nighteyes: did you end up doubling thie recipe? Amd if so did you extend the cooking time?
Also when you say you add raspberries to it, do you use fresh or frozen raspberries? And do you just add them into the bottle then pour the sticky balsamic over the top or do u add them in while cooking? And how many would u add? Thank you in advanxe. Xoxox
Love the recipe. Can anyone tell me how much fruit to add for raspberry balsamic reduction please?
Thank you for sharing very simple and very tasty
I make this recipe all of the time. It has become our standard salad dressing. I sometimes add a sprig of rosemary and a fresh clove of garlic and then strain at the end. Yummy
Easy & perfect & add a little maple syrup as suggested in comments - Better than the bought stuff!
I haven't made this yet, but will definitely make tomorrow. I make ' babblingapril's' caramelised onion recipe from 'the community'.
I have been using a bottle of caramelised balsamic I was given as a gift and it is even lovelier.
Cant wait to make my own caramelised vinegar.
Also I know it was a while ago, but some one asked about bottles. I buy new bottles and jars from this man John, in wagga, but you can buy online at Sales@austrapak.com.au
