Cherry Torte
- 450 grams cherries fresh, frozen, canned
- 450 grams ricotta cheese
- 100 grams caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Rose Petals
- pinch black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Rose Water

Prepare pie crust according to Sweet Shortcrust Pastry recipe p 129 Everyday Cookbook
Blind bake pie crust 12 min/180 deg
Mix (drained) cherries, ricotta, sugar and eggs 12 sec/speed 4
Add ginger, cinnamon, pepper, rose petals and mix 10 sec/speed 4
Pour into pie shell and bake at 180 deg until top crust is golden - approx 20 min
Prior to serving make a small hole in pie crust and pour in rosewater
