I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 200°C
Insert butterfly into TM bowl and add butter, sugars and vanilla. Cream for 1 min / sp 4. Add the egg and mix for 5 secs / sp 4, scrape down sides of the jug and mix again for another 5 secs / sp 4. Remove butterfly.
Add flour and salt and knead for 1 min / "Closed lid" (lid locked) / "Dough mode" stopping half way to scrape down sides of the jug.
Add choc chips and combine for 10 secs / "Counter-clockwise operation" / sp 1.
Tip dough (which might still look slightly crumbly) onto your Thermomat and knead for 10 seconds by hand until dough is smooth.
Shape teaspoons full of mixture into small balls (about the size of a walnut); place on lightly greased oven trays, allow room for spreading.
Bake in oven for 10-12 mins. Store in an air tight container.
Tip
These choc chip cookies are so good and only use half the amount of butter that is used in the choc chip cookie recipe in the EDC. They taste a lot like "more!" Enjoy!
