This cake is the most beautiful and moist cake I've ever tasted and so easy. It makes a lovely big one and freezes well, simply delicious, one of our favourites it's worth 10 stare 👍😊

Delicious cake.
I am not a great cake eater.
Due to virus have been cooking cakes and freezing them for when my sweet tooth checks in, or when I have visitors.
This cake is great and will definitely cook again.
Highly recommend this recipe
Mine are in the oven as I write this comment. Used zest and juice of 1 lemon as I have plenty of Lemons, also had some caramelised pear yoghurt that needed using. So can't wait for the taste test. Could well end up at work tomorrow for morning tea.
I made this today and used a blood orange. I milled the sugar then threw in the quartered Blood Orange. Start back at step 3. I also used coconut oil instead of Grapeseed Oil. I used an 18cm square cake tine and had to cook for 10 mins longer. Looks pink rather than orange but tastes great and is still very moist.
Absolutely delicious thank you! I had no eggs so used buttermilk, and it turned out so soft!
made this tonight and as I was in a hurry chucked the whole orange into it it smells devine have tasted the little bit that fell off as I turned it out and yummy..... quick and so easy .... also used home made yoghurt
thanks for sharing
