Ingredients
- 200 grams almonds
- 125 grams sugar
- 300 grams Self Raising Flour
- 125 grams margarine, I use Logicol Margarine
- 100 grams Rice Bran Oil
- 1 egg
- Handful of Almonds for decoration

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
Place almonds and sugar into TM bowl for 10 seconds on speed 9
Add the self raising flour, margarine and rice bran oil into the TM bowl and mix ingedients for 10 seconds on speed 7
Set dial to closed lid position and mix for one minute on interval speed - sometimes this takes a little longer. You can take it out of the bowl and mix it by hand into a big ball.
Tip
These make great gifts. Place them into a jar for a special touch

As I only had almond meal I used that & found I didn't have enough so used up the hazelnut meal to make up the amount. Added coconut oil instead of rice bran oil and misread the recipe and added the egg to the mix. Put pecans on top and didn't bother with the egg wash. The result is a delicious!
Will be making this again and next time I will do it the way the recipe says
Great recipe Tina! Made a batch last week, followed with another batch, as I froze part of the first lot of biscuits succesfully as if they were baked that day, Great tip also pressing the mixture into a large bottle top lined with glad wrap. They tasted nice as well as being a professionally looking product for giving at Xmas. Thanks Tina, will be making these biscuits again and again.
