Easy method - works every time!
so so yummy!!!
Great all in one recipe... felt it needed something but couldn't quite put my finger on it... more salt or something but overall was very tasty. I added some chopped choy sum right at the end and it steamed beautifully.
Agree with previous comments that this recipe is much better than the one in the Asian cookbook. Definitely a recipe to impress and feed a crowd!
Delicious!!

Love this dish - the chicken was so moist and tasty. I haven't used the Varoma a whole lot yet, but this was very easy. The only thing missing is that lovely broth that is served with the dish, I might have to figure out how to make it all work! I splashed some soy over the chicken towards the end, the kids love soy. I also steamed some carrots in with the chicken for some extra veg. The kids didn't have the ginger sauce, but I found it delish! Definitely one I will do again!
I loooove chicken rice. It was one of my favourite dishes my mum used to cook. I've tried to make my mum's recipe before and it just wasn't the same. This one is not bad, and much easier than the traditional method, so will definitely be cooking it again.
I have only been using be TM for just over a week.
This was a great way to practice my skills and I loved that it all turned out wonderfully in the end. My husband and son loved the dish. Both had seconds and my husband even drank some of the ginger sauce! I thought it was very tasty but I did add more salt to my dish. My son and husband don't love salt the way I do though so cannot add more to the recipe when I cook it again If you like saltier taste, add more to the rice. The cucumber goes really well with the dish too.
Thanks for sharing. This was my first dish I was truly happy with the end result.
