This Banoffee Pie Custard is delish...
I swapped 50g flour for 50g cornflour. I would reduce the sugar to 80g next time, I found it pretty sweet.
I replaced the 50g flour with 15g cornflour, 50/50 brown sugar/stevia and placed them into four ramekins. A few slices of banana on top, tiny sprinkling of brown sugar and a tiny drizzle of sugar-free maple syrup. Yummo.
Great flavour but a bit chunkier than I was expecting
This was delicious! I used less sugar, and 15g of cornflower instead of flour. I also added a touch of vanilla essence. It was the perfect consistency! Yum!
I liked it but no one else would eat it as it really tasted like flour
Wow!
Oh my! This is now my new favourite custard flavour. Brilliant recipe - I used 30g cornflour and it turned out EXACTLY how we like our custard.
This is so yummy! I whizzed it for a few seconds to break up the banana which also made it a bit thicker. I did use plain flour, not sure if cornflour would work the same either.
Made this last night, and it was delicious! After the second step, I added a smidgen more brown sugar to taste and repeated the 90 degrees, 1 minute, reverse 2. Can't wait to taste it cold tonight! I'm curious as to whether substituting the flour for cornflour would make it thicker. Thanks for the recipe!
This is so Amazing! And cold the next day it tastes even more like banoffee Pie! Thanks for sharing
