Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingridients into bowl and mix for 10 seconds on speed 5

  2. Scrape down sides of bowl and mix a further 5 seconds on speed 5

  3. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes

  4. Heat a fry pan on the stove top and use the butter to cook with. I use a medium heat but this will vary depending on the pan you are using.

I cook them one at a time, making medium sized pancakes however you can make them smaller if you wish.

  5. Turn the pancakes when holes have started to appear on the upper side through the batter

  6. Remove from pan when the underside is cooked

  7. Use the Thermoserver to keep the cooked pancakes warm while you make the remainder of the batter.

Tip

This recipe is very easily doubled or tripled if you are wanting to make more.

Doubled this recipe but used others suggestions of 15g sugar & 5g vanilla per batch & they were great. I had them sitting for an hr after mixing & they were light & fluffy. Quite a thin batter though. If you like thicker pancakes use less milk.

Can I make the batter the night before and leave in fridge?

Thank you. Best pancake recipe I have ever used. They tasted great and excellent thickness. Just reduced the sugar to 15g. Will definitely make again

Ive made these four or five times now. They are great! So easy to make and not a long resting period either. They are not that thick, more like Maccas hotcakes thickness but are still light and fluffy and our family loves them thank you!

Yum. I've tried a few Thermie pancake recipes now, and this one is my fave. Added some blueberries to the mix at the end, mixed in on reverse for a few seconds.

This recipe makes lovely pancakes - perfect every time.  AND it is a great base recipe if you want to get creative. I've added 2 blitzed green apples for apple pancakes, a couple of ripe bananas for banana pancakes or chocolate chips for something sweet.  Yum!

Hit the right spot. These were a superb finish to our lovely Thermomix soup with fish with vegetable dinner. So quick and easy. I reduced the sugar to one teaspoon.  Thank you.
