Ingredients
Apple Base
- 6 apples
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 30g water
Crumble
- 150 gram almonds
- 60 gram rolled oats
- 40 gram brown sugar
- 100 gram Butter

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
Weigh crumble ingredients into the Thermomix bowl.
Pulse on turbo 3-6 times (less than a second each time) to create a rough crumble mixture. You don’t want the crumble to be too fine.
Set crumble mixture aside, and put TMX bowl back in place (no need to wash it).
Peel and quarted the apple. Put in the TM bowl and chop for 4 secs speed 4.
Add the water, vanilla and the cinnamon and cook on temp 80, speed 2 for 5 mins ot until soft
Spread the apple mixure in the pie dish.
Top with crumble mixture
Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes, or until golden
Serve with custard or ice-cream
