- 40 g Milk

- 800 g water
- 150 g golden syrup
- 90 g raw sugar
- 25 g Butter

- Place flour, baking powder and butter in "Closed lid" and mix for 10sec/speed 4 should reassemble bread crumbs...
Add in egg and milk continue to mix 10sec/speed 4
Spoon/roll into balls (approx 12) and place on a floured plate to rest while the syrup hearts up.
No need to clean and dry bowl before making syrup. Just make sure it is well scrapped out. - Place all syrup ingredients into "Closed lid" and bring to a simmer 10min/110°C/speed2
Remove lid carefully and place 4-6 dumplings into "Closed lid" in syrup and cook for 8min/110°C/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting"
when cooked place in your thermoserver to keep warm while you cook the remaining dumplings in 2-3 batches same time speed etc. 8min/110°C/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting"
once all dumplings are cooked divide between bowls and serve with cream, ice cream or milk...

The dumplings were quite dense unfortunately. The only advice I would have to thicken the sauce is to leave the MC off during cooking to allow the sauce to evaporate. OR alternatively, what I did once the dumplings were all cooked was to add 2 tablespoons of cornflour and mix for 5-10 mins on varoma speed 2, which allowed the sauce to boil and thicken.
Omg. I have tried this 3 times now & they didn't turn out well. Dumplings too floury 1st time and i ended up with what looked like vegetable soup other 2 times. What a complete waste if good ingredients. 😣
Dumplings were great (I did them as muffins) but the sauce was way too watery.
Will experiment with different recipes in future, this didn't have a good dumpling texture and sauce was quite watery to our taste.
Can't see any ingredients for the dumplings, just syrup.
