Ingredients
Apricot Fudge Slice
- 1 package plain sweet biscuits e.g. milk arrowroot
- 200 g dried apricots
- 125 g Butter, cubed
- 200 g condensed milk (1/2 tin or make your own)
- 100 g brown sugar
- 20 g Desiccated or Shredded Coconut plus extra for sprinkling

Crush biscuits 5-10 sec / speed 6 (time may vary depending on type of biscuits & how fine you like them crushed). Set aside in a bowl.
Chop dried apricots 5 sec / speed 6. Set aside with crushed biscuits.
Melt butter, sugar & condensed milk 1 min / 50 degrees / speed 3. Extend by 30 sec if required.
Combine biscuits & apricots back into TM bowl, along with coconut & combine 10-20sec / reverse / speed 3.
Press firmly into a lined slice tin until smooth.
Sprinkle extra coconut over the top to garnish & pop in the fridge until firm.

I totally didn't read the instructions and just threw everything in together and blitzed it for a bit longer, and it turned out perfectly. I left out the sugar altogether, which probably helped ensure it still worked as there was nothing to dissolve. It's still sweet enough with the condensed milk.

OMG this is the easiest slice which I also hid some extra fibre into.
Great tasting slice. I did use less butter & sugar than ingredient list stated however was still a big hit in our family
I did melt the sugar longer going by previous comments & I was using cold condensed milk
This is a great easy slice, but twice now the sugar hasn't dissolved, perhaps because my condensed milk is cold ( I make up a few batches and keep in the fridge, 1x tin = 400g). Will make a note to myself to heat butter/sugar/milk for longer.

Made this yesterday after I had half a tin of condensed milk leftover from another recipe. I added 2 tablespoons of coconut when adding the apricots and biscuits....also added melted chocolate on top after the slice had set in fridge for a bit. Was very yummy! Thanks for sharing
