Ingredients
Cheesecake
- 250g plain biscuits, (eg: nice, milk arrowroot, or Marie)
- 400g Hazelnut Chocolate Spread, one batch made from EDC/BCB
- 75g unsalted butter cubed
- 50g hazelnut meal
- 500g cream cheese, room temp.
- 60g icing sugar
- 50g chopped hazelnuts, to be sprinkled on top

- Grease and line a round spring form tin with baking paper.
- Place biscuits in TM bowl and chop 10 sec / speed 10. Set aside.
- Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
- Make a batch of Hazelnut Chocolate Spread from EDC/BCB and set aside.
- Add butter and 50g Hazelnut Chocolate Spread and mix 10 sec / speed 8.
- Add hazelnut meal and biscuits and mix 10 sec / speed 8NB: Mixture will be a damp sandy texture.
- Pour into tin and press into base using back of a spoon or your MC.
- Place in fridge to chill.
- Place cream cheese and icing sugar in TM bowl and mix 10 sec / speed 8. Scrape down and mix 5 sec / speed 8.
- Add remaining Hazelnut Chocolate Spread (will be approx. 350g) to cream cheese mixture and combine 10 sec / speed 10. Scrape down and repeat.
- Remove tin from fridge and pour hazelnut cream cheese mixture over the base.
- Scatter hazelnuts on top to cover and place tin in fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Serve straight from the fridge for best results.

Tip
If you prefer a thinner base use 200grams of biscuits.

YUMMM ! Everyone loved it. I made this for my work colleague. Everyone loved it and couldn't fault it. It was simple and easy to make and I'll definitely be making this again.

Simply devine The only thing I changed was to sprinkle grated top deck chocolate on top instead of hazelnuts. This was a huge hit and will be made again for sure.
This was a hit. Way to sweet for me, but everyone thought I was awesome. I also made a Raspberry/Strawberry Sorbet to go with it.
Amazing! Took this to a party and everyone loved it! So easy too. Will definitely be making this again. I also forgot the nutella in the base and it was a little crumbly but still awesome
Wow, this is great. I would use less biscuit next time too, but you could also do the same amount and push it up the sides. I forgot to put the nutella in the base mix, so it was a little crumbly, but that was my fault! I also added extra nutella in the cheesecake mix and it was so so good! Best bit was it was solid enough to cut 3 hrs after making it!
I first milled the hazelnuts, then added the biscuits to chop. Then I set them aside, and melted the butter in the bowl, then added back the biscuit mix (there was no mention of melting butter in the method).

I have just updated the ingredients to say what biscuits I used. Just anything plain. Even plain chocolate biscuits would work too!

I have just edited the method and put in that the Hazelnut meal needs to be included with the mixture for the biscuit base. Apologies for leaving it out earlier!
