Crumble turned to paste. Adjusted recipe. Keep butter in large chunks, don't melt. Add other ingredients and blitz 5 seconds, speed 4.

Made this yesterday for my family - steamed apples and a couple of pears, sprinkled with chinese 5 spice, did crumble as suggested, TOTAL HIT!!! Kids loved it and hubby thought it was awesome! This is the first gluten free crumble we have tried, sticking to this one! You MUST try this gorgeous!

I steam peel in basket and puree it with a bit of the residue water/juice and put it on top so getting the vitamins of the skin also also great with a lil pear mixed in to apple. Also love a sprinkle of cinnamon in apple and crumble

Really simple and delicious. We didn't need gluten free so used half oats and half flour, also didn't melt the butter and mixed crumble for 20 seconds. Loved by all, thanks for sharing
