I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- 1. Place dates, nuts, cocnut, vanilla, salt and water in thermo bowl.
2. Chop 7 seconds on speed 5.5.
3. Scrape down sides of the bowl with the spatula then chop aother 5 seconds on speed 5.5. Repeat until desired consistency is reached, adding a little more water if required.
Note: I like my treats chunkier and with some texture but you can make the mixture as chunky or smooth as you like, as long as it can be rolled into balls/ pressed into a slice tin.
4. Roll mix into balls or press firmly into a slice tin. Refridgerate for an hour or so until mixture is firm.
5. Melt chocolate (in the microwave or in a bain-marie on the stove). Dip balls into the melted chocolate (or pour over the slice), sprinkle with a little additional coconut if desired, then place back in the fridge to set.
6. Cut slice into bite size peices and enjoy!

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
