Ingredients

Custard Filling

  • 395 g Condensed milk tin
  • 880 g Milk
  • 2tbs + 1tsp cornflour
  • 3 tsp custard powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 g Butter, diced
  • cinnamon, to sprinkle over top

Biscuit Base

  • 1 pack Granita or Tennis biscuits
  • 100g Butter, diced

Recipe's preparation

    Biscuit Base
  1. Add biscuits to mixing bowl. Crush 10 seconds / Speed 9

  2. Add butter. Mix 3 minutes / 60 degrees / speed 2

  3. Press crushed mixture into bottom and edges of pie dish. You may need to use damp fingers to do this. Place in fridge while you make the custard filling.

  4. Custard Filling
  5. Add all custard filling ingredients to mixing bowl EXCEPT for the cinnamon. Cook 15 minutes / 90 degrees / Speed 4 until thick.

  6. Immediately pour custard over biscuit base. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours until set.

This is not an original recipe for the biscuit base, but it is a quick, easy and delicious one!
