Delicious thank u! I used grapes instead of pear and rocket instead of kale and spinach.
A flawed recipe! It is unnecessary to blitz cashews first. They are soft. As are the dates. Why do you need to give them extra blending when a carrot is put in WHOLE. And beetroot is much harder than dates for goodness sake. Definitely overkill. The more mixing you do the quicker oxidation occurs so you need to be kept this to a minimum.
I used the recipe as a guideline only. Added banana, cucumber, grapefruit, celery and hemp seeds. Put everything in the bowl and blitzed for only 1 minute. Lovely and smooth.
I'm glad its healthy because it doesn't taste very nice. Maybe if I had used coconut water it would have tasted better?
Can I just ask? Do you use raw beetroot? If so any previous prep that needs to be done?
This is AMAZING! I used both coconut water and dates as my toddler was sharing with me. I ended up drinking 3 glasses worth - it was my dinner!
This sounds very interesting, nutritious and possibly delicious! I'm going to give it a go! :-
