  • 4 salmon portions
  • 20 grams pickled ginger
  • 30 grams fresh coriander

Wasabi mashed potatoes

  • 5 potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 teaspoons wasabi paste

  • Silver beet leaves, handful, washed
  • beans, sliced
  • 1 carrots, sliced
  • 1 Courgettes

Recipe's preparation

    Salmon
  1. Chop the ginger and coriander for 4 seconds on speed 4, you may need to scrape down once then chop again. Should be a bit chunky still. Spread on one side of the salmon and set aside until ready to cook.

  2. Potatoes
  3. Add 500 ml water to the bowl, put the potatoes in the simmering basket in the bowl, set to 20 minutes, varoma, speed 2. At 20 minutes, add the varoma dish with the green beans in the dish, on top and set to 8 minutes varoma, speed 2. When there are 6 minutes to go, add the carrots to the dish, then put the silver beet and courgettes on the tray, set the salmon on top of the greens, then set on top of the dish and steam for 6 minutes. Once cooked set aside to keep warm. 

    Then empty the bowl of hot water, put the cooked potatoes in with butter and wasabi paste, and puree 10 seconds on speed 7. Arrange mashed potato on a plate, arrange vegetables around and place salmon on top.
