Ingredients
Meatballs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 sprigs parsley
- 1 onion, halved
- 500 grams mince
- 200 grams Sausage Mince
- 1 egg
- 100 grams bread crumbs
- 1 heaped teaspoon curry powder
BBQ Sauce
- 285 grams tomato sauce
- 35 grams Worcestershire sauce
- 115 grams brown sugar
- 55 grams white vinegar
- 80 grams fruit chutney

- Chop garlic & parsley 3 secs / speed 7
- Add onion, chop 5 secs / speed 5
- Add remaining ingredients to bowl & mix on interval for 1 minute.
- Scrape bowl & repeat.
- Roll into tablespoon sized balls and place into greased baking dish. Cook at 180 degress in fan forced oven for 30 minutes turning after 15 minutes.
(While meatballs are cooking wash bowl ready for sauce). - When there is 10 minutes left on meatballs place all sauce ingredients into bowl & cook 7 mins / 100 degrees / speed 2.
- When meatballs have finished pour BBQ sauce over & put back in the oven for 15 minutes basting occasionally.

Tip
I substitute bread crumbs & worcestershire sauce for gluten free.
Serve with mashed potato & steamed veggies.

I made these last night... Absolutly delicious and enough left over for Meatball subs for lunch today
Tried this tonight after partner requested meatballs with a bbq sauce. Was absolutely amazing and will definitely be having again
OMG! I made this for my boyfriend and me for Sunday dinner. He doesn't eat pork or beef and i didn't want to do turkey or chicken so I opted for ground lamb. wobble man https://wobble-man.com It was amazeballs lol I followed the recipe to the T and it came out better than I originally thought. If you're a fan of lamb I would definitely sub the beef out for it.

Very tasty, thanks for the recipe. I did a double batch (didnt mix it in the thermie jug) and baked the meatballs in the oven. Did a double batch of sauce but didnt double the brown sugar.
Absolutely beautiful! Hit in our house hold. Next time I will possibly reduce the brown sugar a little. Adding this to the meal rotation.
