Instead of fresh carrots, I used frozen mix veges and it was really good.

So delicious thank you for sharing. I have already made one batch I'm now going back to the shops to get more ingredients for another lot.
fabulous recipe
Love this. Definitely cooking it again.
I added some fennel in the first step, replaced the mushrooms with broccoli stems, zucchini and potato and used a bit more wine. I also chucked in some oregano and lots of bay leaves. Good quality beef doesn't need as much time in step three. Very nice!!
Tasty and filling casserole with minimum fuss. Loved it!
Loved this recipe, so easy and delicious. I used 800g of meat, halved the vege paste, added a ton of crushed tomatoes (so I reduced the amount of water by half) and some parsley. I cooked it for an extra 30 minutes to help tenderise the meat, then served it with thermo silky sweet potato mash. Family loved it. It's very saucy though, so I froze the left over sauce and will use it over crumbed steak later in the week.
Made this twice now in the past couple of weeks and added a tin of crushed tomatoes with a dessert spoon of sugar, we loved it. It's such a quick, easy and tasty recipe - thanks for sharing.
Made this for dinner but I ended up being sick and never got to try it. However husband polished it off over a few meals. He did ask that another time I turn it into a pie - so will try that as well. However first I have to make it again and try it
Absolutely Yummy and so easy to swap ingredients around! I used sweet potato and aubergine instead of carrots and mushrooms and it was delicious! Thank you!
