I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. 1. Place onion into the bowl and chop for 3 seconds on speed 7. Scrape down side of bowl.  Repeat if you prefer finer or use a lower speed if you prefer chucky onion.

    2. Add oil to the onion and saute for 3 mintues on 100deg.

    3. Add beef stips, tomato paste, mushrooms, beef stock cubes, salt, pepper, YIAH Stoganoff spice, Wortchershire sauce and water.  Cook for 10 minutes on 100 deg speed 1 and use the simmering basket instead of the MC to let the steam escape.

    4. Add the cream, milk and cornflour. Cook for 10 minutes on 100 deg speed 1 and make sure the cornflour is stirred in.  Use simmering basket as per step 3.

    5. Cook rice or pasta to serve with Stroganoff.

    6. Serve & enjoy!

Tip

If you do not have to eat a Gluten Free diet then just substitute with Glutened Cornflour.  YIAH stands for Your Inspiration at Home and can be found online or thru your local YIAH Consultant/Representative.  Add more or less mushrooms/onions.  Other vegetables can also be added.

If mixture is too runny then add more cornflour however we love it runny tmrc_emoticons.)

Thermomix Model

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
