This has a very nice flavour, but even after reducing water, it was still too runny

Delicious! Glad I read the comments before starting. I reduced the water to 70g, added leek, zucchini and celery. Family loved it. Am adding this one to my favourites. Will use the mixture for chicken and leek pies 😊

So easy to make thank you, did 1.5 times recipe and reduced water to just 70ml.  Also added leek which made it super yum!!  Family all loved it ☺️

Even with double cornflour mine was too runny by far.  I couldn't spread the mash, it just sunk into the base.  Loved the flavour though.  I'll leave the water out completely next time I think.  Thanks for the recipe.

Nice flavour but too runny. And I halved the water. But I would make it again with double the chicken and have leftovers.

The husband loved it and had two helpings.  Had chicken pieces so cooked these and then took the meat off.  After reading the other comments reduced the water by 70 ml and increased the cornflour to 2.5 tbsp.  also instead of using cream used sour cream and added in some additional veges And did the topping with sweet potato.

I added a garlic with the onion and follwed others comments by just using cream and no water. Mine still turned out quite runny so will use s lot more cornflour next time, was nice flavours though and kids ate the lot so still a winner!
