I have just made the pie contents and I must say the leek didn't cook enough, the mushrooms were obliterated and there was no specific weight for the chicken. There was not enough description for the stock. For example it said 200g of stock but was that made up of TM chicken stock paste and water? If so how much stock paste and how much water? The sauce was a bit runny so it won't be put in a pie but I will add cooked rice to absorb some of the liquid.
    Not my favourite sorry!

This was way too runny, and it made enough for two pies. I won't be putting the chicken stock in next time

Is there a way to work out the calorie count on this??

I just found this a very poor recipe. It says it is suitable for beginners but really it misses out lots of important steps.  It was all a bit mushy. The leek was not cooked enough in the time suggested. The sauce was quite runny. I feel like I have ruined the ingredients that I've used and it's a shame.

Will definitely NOT be making this again!!!

Very tasty and easy to make, just very hard to keep the filling together with the puff pastry once cut open.

I also didn't see water as an ingredient, so I just made it as it with the addition of mustard. It had a nice amount of sauce to make pies with, but definately needed salt and pepper. I will also add just a touch more chicken next time. Will certainly make this brew again

I see lots of comments about using less water but don't see water listed as an ingredient. Has this been edited to remove the water?

Yum-o. This was the first meal I cooked in my thermo. I also found it a bit runny, so will decrease the water and up the flour a bit next time. Looking forward to trying it with some wholegrain mustard instead of thyme.

Thanks for the great recipe! I also found it runny, but reduced the water down to nearly nothing when I made the second batch, just enough to mix the stock with. Thanks again, was delish!
