Recipe's preparation

    Steamed Vegetables
  1. Prep Vegetables First and place Potatoes into Varoma Basket and Broccoli on Tray.

  2. Stroganoff
  3. Place Onion and Garlic into TM Bowl for 3 seconds on speed 5. Scrape down sides.

Add in Butter, Paprika and a dash of salt cook for 4 minutes at 100 degrees on speed2. (Varoma Dish On)

Add in Cubed Chuck Steak cook for 15 minutes at Varoma on  Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"  Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  (Varoma Dish On)

Prep the mushrooms during this time.

Then add the Tomato Paste, Seeded Mustard and Stock as well as the Mushrooms. Cook for 15 minutes at Varoma on Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" (Varoma Dish On)

Keep an eye on Broccoli as sometimes it doesn't need much longer to be cooked. If this is the case I remove it and spread out the potatoes to top and bottom of the Varoma.

Once finished I generally add Greek Yoghurt and 10 seconds Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  on speed 3 just to mix it through.

Tip

Really nice flavour but the meat was too tough. I'll definitely make again but I think I might cook longer or even slow cook it.

Very delicious and tasty, I added one cup of water with stock and cooked for an extra 15 minutes. I cut the meat small at around 2cm cubes and it cooked to perfection. I changed the temperature to 90 for the final 15 minutes. Once cooked I tipped my potatoes into the unrinsed bowl added an egg some salt, 40 grams of butter, grated Parmesan and half a cup of milk. Put in the beater and speed 4 for 15 seconds. I left out the yoghurt for the meat mixture and it was delicious.

The flavour was ok but even though I followed the recipe exacty, the bottom of my bowl was burnt! I kept wondering if it should have water or some liquid in it?? The answer was yes!

IF I try this again I will definitely be adding some liquid.
