So yummy... a real family favourite... I make this for the family all the time and they just love it....thank you for sharing your recipe....
Lovely curry! The family loved it.
I used @bubg's alterations of 2T curry powder, coconut cream instead of cream, and adding veggies at that step in the recipe. Kept a bit of the chilli in (1/4tsp). Loved the results! Great curry and reheated well for lunches.
Do you think it would still work if cooked on Varoma temp. instead of 100ºC, so that I can cook veggies in the Varoma dish meanwhile?
Not a big fan of this one I'm afraid. I only included 1.5 tbsp of curry powder and even at that was overpowering. The beef did come out nice and tender (I cooked for the maximum time). Also found it needed thickening somewhat; I used potato mash which did add some extra flavour as well.
This is so easy to make and delish!!! Thank you!
yummy! even my fussy daughter liked it! I didn't have fresh ginger and chillies, so i just added ginger powder and chilli flakes. Added zuccini and brocolli towards the end. My daughter used to suffer from Fructose Malabsorption years ago, even with the zucchini and broc, it still would be considered suitable for those with FM. Wish we had this recipe as well as a thermomix all those years ago! Thanks for sharing.
This curry is really delicious. I used about 800g rump steak, left out the chilli and reduced the curry powder to 2T to cater for our kids and it still tasted great. Instead of adding cream I added a tin of coconut cream and veggies (zucchini, corn, sweet potato, carrot, chick peas, brocolli - so it wasn't a FODMAP curry for us). At this step I also transferred the ingredients to the slow cooker to simmer away for the afternoon. I can see myself making this one regularly throughout winter - it's a winner! Thanks
Amazing, we loved it. We like hot curries so I used 2 chillies and left the seeds in, I could put another chilli in even.
This is a great recipe. My grownup family family loved it, especially my son with extreme food allergies and needs to follow a fodmap diet due to frustose malabsorption. Its a winner for our family.
