TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I now put the veggies with the cornflour mix and they turn out perfectly. I would like to add more chicken as it is barely enough to feed my husband and I. Tonight I cut the chicken smaller and didn’t have a problem. I think I will try more chicken next time. Great recipe.
smallpoppitts:
Thats what I was wondering, whether I could steam the veggies on top whilst the chicken is cooking.
Very nice made tonight will be making again didn't add full honey and marmalade but still very nice
This was really yummy, I didn't add the full amounts of honey and marmalade as suggested by others and still the sauce was really rich and tasty. I have made this twice so far and I think the trick is to leave the chicken in quite big pieces as it shredded slightly but in the end was a perfect size. The second time I made it I cut the chicken much smaller and it shred quite a lot more. Also lots of sauce so room to add in veggies. Thanks for the recipe it is a good one!
One hundred percent amazing! Loved every bit of it. Added two chillies, as we like spicy food! And saved the sauce (popped in the freezer) to do it all again real soon!
Ciao, Chopsuey!
Great recipe everyone loved it.
i only added 130g of honey and was still very sweet.
will make again
Delish!
I was a bit jubeous of the marmalade touch as i'm not a real marmalade fan, but put it in and it was very yummy! I only had whole chicken thighs so gave it a shot and put them in whole - never done such before - Came out absolutely fine - i did only cook 2 as our kids were away, so not sure that it would cope with a family load of thighs! Thinking it would probably work fine with those small chicken nibble peices.
OMG this recipe was so good. We didnt have enough honey in house so i only used 40g and after reading the comments it my have been a good thing as the sauce was not rich at all.
Liked the flavours, did not add so much of sweet soy, or soy sauces and double the amount of chicken and it was great. Thank you
This was nice, but very strong and very saucy. I think next time I will reduce the sauce, or make with more chicken and potentially reduce some of the honey or sweet soy sauce as I personally found it a little sweet. It was definitely worth making though. Thanks!
