If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Tasty and a good alternative to a traditional Shepherds Pie.  In future I will omit the extra salt as the Vege Concentrate gave it enough saltiness. I didn't bother with all the ingredients in the sweet potato mash and i also put a handful of frozen peas into the meat mixture at the end to add a bit of life (and detract from saltiness). I will make it again.

I liked the taste of this meal but there were too many steps and it took alot longer than I think it would take to cook on the stove and then in the oven. To save time I decided to cook the sweet potato on the stove then mash. I am getting used to the thermomix as I am a beginner so it might take me a little longer than usual to make a meal than those experienced. However, it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to cook (start to finish). I don't think the cooking and preparation time is correct on this receipe. It says 30 minutes of cooking/baking time. However, the instructions say to put in the oven for 30 minutes. It doesn't include the total of approx 23 minutes to cook mince then 25-30 minutes to boil the sweet potato. This is almost an hour and a half of cooking not 30 minutes. I'm not complaining about the time it took, just pointing it. Nice tasty meal otherwise.

Tasted great. Added a bit of cheese to the sweet potato mash before placing in the oven. The kids loved it, and have asked for it again. Winning!

Lovely recipe, a spicy one for hubby and son. Just a little dry, just like morrocon meals.
