  • 600 g pork mince
  • 3 tablespoons mint leaves, fresh
  • 1 carrot, roughly chopped
  • 400 g can Chickpeas, well rinsed
  • 20 g Moroccan Seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g EDC Dukkah

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add mint leaves to Closed lid"Closed lid" and chop for 3 seconds, speed 7.

    Add carrot to Closed lid"Closed lid" and chop for 5 seconds, speed 5.

    Add chickpeas to Closed lid"Closed lid" and chop for 3 seconds, speed 5.  Scrape down sides of bowl and chop again for 2-3 seconds, speed 5.

    Add egg, moroccan seasoning and mince to Closed lid"Closed lid" and mix for about 10 seconds, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , speed 6.  Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix again if needed.

    Divide the mixture into approx 12 portions. Roll into meatballs and flatten slightly.  Roll in dukkah.  Refrigerate for 30 minutes before cooking on BBQ. They will take about 5 minutes each side.

    Serve with EDC Mashed Potato and zucchini, capsicum and yellow squash all cooked on the BBQ

    I created a baby food variation of this by adding a tin of chopped tomatoes and instead of creating meatballs I cooked the mince mixture in TMX for 20 mins. My 8 month old loved it!

    I have again tweakd this recipe by adding my homemade vegie stock  (frozen into cubes- 2 cubes tmrc_emoticons.;) lentils, spring onions & a clove of garlic,100g pear juice & 3 heaped teaspoons cornflour to the pork mince, mint,carrot & chickpeas.

    Chopped everything( except mince & lentils) 5 seconds speed 5

    Added Mince & lentils,cornflour & pear juice.

    Added 20g oil, cooked 15mins, Varoma,Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" sp 1

    I'm going toput the filling into  individual pies tmrc_emoticons.;)
