Ingredients

  • 1000 grams free-range chicken thigh fillets, chopped into bite sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 120 grams dried apricots, Cut in half
  • 400ml can apricot nectar
  • 1 package french onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 15 pieces Cashews

Recipe's preparation

  1. Heat oil for 3 mins 100o speed 1.

    Insert butterfly. Add chicken pieces and cook 5 mins 100o Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" mix all the liquids together with the soup mix and add to TM bowl along with the apricots and cook for 25 mins on 100o Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  speed 1. Add parsley and seasoning to taste.

    Add Cashews when served.

    Really nice with Cauliflower rice.  If doing this, put up to Varoma for 6 minutes at the end on soft speed (no butterfly) with the Varoma tray of Cauliflower rice.

    Very impressed..found the dish very tasty.  I didnt have french onion soup and just used onion flakes and worked perfectly.Kids licked their bowls clean

    My kids absolutely loved this and I did too. An easy dinner with not too many ingredients. I served it up with rice and steamed vegies. Winner!
