Recipe's preparation

    Main DIsh
  1. Chop garlic and spring onion for 3 seconds, speed 6

  2. Add soy and oyster sauce and mix for 4 seconds, speed 4

  3. Add chicken pieces to marinade mixture and stir for 2 seconds,  speed 3

  4. Tip chicken out of TM bowl onto top tray of Varoma and spread evenly, ensuring there are steam holes visible. Do not wash TM bowl

  6. Cook on Varoma temperature for 20 minutes, speed  2

  7. Add brocolinni  bok choy, capsicum to bottom half of Varoma (at 10 minutes left)

  8. Remove Varoma and basket of rice (keep liquid in TM)

  9. Sauce
  10. Add Ginger, soy sauce to liquid in TM Bowl, chop for 3 second speed six (repeat if you want finer ginger)

  11. Mix corn flour and water - prior to adding to TM

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
