If using your own mince place slightly frozen mince and brown onion chopped in quarters into thermo bowl and"Closed lid" use turbo function until consistency is reached 1sec each time .if using already made mince just put onion quarters into thermo and chop for3sec/speed 7 .
Add mince (if not already in bowl from mincing our own ). crack egg into mixture .pkt of french onion soup and salt and pepper to taste .Put thermo on "Counter-clockwise operation" and mix for 20-30 seconds untill combined .
weigh out portions of 125gs and roll into patties flatten slightly and then coat in flour and let refridgerate for half a hr or so .

Enjoy these patties in the up coming summer festive season they be the hit of any bbq or gathering i have made these 3 times in the past 2 weeks and every group of friends i have made them for absoukly loved them . U could even make patties in advance and freeze before cooking although i put baking paper inbetween each pattie so they dont stick together .

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Would I be able to use this recipe in the 31? please, as out of all the recipes I like the sound of this one the best!
I've tried a few rissole recipes in the thermo and this one has been the family favourite. Delicious Flavour And holds well when hubby cooks them on BBQ
