Recipe's preparation

This breakfast recipe is like eating chocolate mousse for breakfast. Beware!
  1. Mill groats and almonds for 30seconds/speed 9.

Add water, coconut oil and a pinch of salt - cook 10minutes/100degrees/speed 3.

Add banana, dates and cacao - blend 1 minute/speed 9 to achieve a mousse like texture.

Serve with plum compote, or any stewed fruit and top with coconut chips.

Tip

Cacao could be replaced with cocoa or carob.

Use any nuts of your choice.

Try coconut water in place of the water.

Mine turned out alot darker and runnier than the pic, unsure if you are meant to eat it warm or cold- warm was almost like a drink so have put in fridge and will see how it goes. Tasty but very runny warm am hoping cold will be the mousse texture I am after. Thanks!

I added just a tiny bit of coconut sugar to sweeten it a bit. I thought I had ruined it but it was much better once cold/set overnight. Thanks
