I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place first three ingredients in bowl and chop 30 seconds/speed 4.  Scrape down sides of bowl.
    Add water and cook 8 minutes/90degrees/speed 4.

    Add seeds and blend 30 seconds/speed 8.

Check consistency and add coconut water or water if desired and blend for 3seconds/speed 5.

Serve with extra fruit sauce, a sprinkling of nuts, a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of your choice of yoghurt.  We love to have banana sliced and Kimmithgone hemp seed oil drizzled over.

Tip

I have seen apples for a $1/kg this season, and with feijoas dripping off trees around the neighbourhood why not make a large batch of Autumn fruit sauce using the recipe in the Every Day Cookbook.  It can be doubled.
When you rise for breakfast add as many servings of sauce required per person, add the seeds as listed above, then heat for 5minutes/50degrees/speed 4.  Add water if desired and blend for 30seconds/speed 8.
