Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Absolutely delicious 😋
I had left over chicken which I added
Next time will only use basket for half cooking time as like dishes a bit
wetter.
As pasta absorbs and thickens ingredients too much.
Blitzed the mushrooms to hide from fusspots, used tbs veg stock paste instead of salt and added spinach at the end. Enjoyed by all, thanks for sharing the recipe.
Great recipe. Will definetely be making again. I didn't have mushrooms but added a large handful of baby spinach to the thermoserver at the end and stirred through with pasta and sauce.
Yum! Enjoyed by the whole family.
Love reading the comments and then making changes to the recipe even on the first try!
Based on other various comments I added a heaped Tbs of veg stock instead of salt. Added some shredded BBQ chicken at step 2 (handful or so as had some in the fridge). Added half a bag of baby spinach with 5 mins of cooking time left at step 3.
Added sauce to drained pasta, mixed in 2 raw beaten eggs before stirring through the cheese.
Delicious!
This Creamy Bacon Carbonara is super tasty.
I used tinned buttered mushrooms, because I didn't have fresh ones, and added more bacon, because, bacon... lol
added stock as per other comments. It was delicious!
I used a can of evaporated milk instead of cream, x2 tbl spoons of corn flour to thicken and 1 teaspoon of chicken stock powder as per other comments. Served with broccoli pieces on top for a vegetable component. Kids loved it and ate their broccoli. Win, Win.
Beautiful.
made this tonight. Added cornflour to make it a bit thicker. 250g pasta.
loved by 2 adults and 3 children. My 5 year old went back for 3rds
I used pure cream and added a tablespoon of flour during step 4. I used button mushroom and blitzed them as some dont like mushrooms in my family. I also added a tablespoon of vegetable paste instead of salt. Very nice will definitely cook again. My kids havnt tasted it yet but hopefully it's a hit!
