I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Prepare your Nori by cutting into slim strips and then into square. Place into a large stainless steel bowl.[
Into the thermomix bowl place your seaseme seeds. Feel free to add extras if you love them. Dry roast for 3 min on Veroma "Gentle stir setting" Set aside with your pre chopped Nori
Into the mixing bowl add your eggs with 20g of the tamari and a pinch of salt. Whisk gently 5 sec spd 4. Wet some bakers paper and line your veroma tray. Pour out the egg mixture and set aside for a moment.
Add 1300g of water to your mixing bowl and place the steaming basket into the bowl. Weigh in 300g of rice (I use jasmine). For 10 sec turn speed upto speed 5 to wash rice. Set rice to cook. 25min Varoma spd 2 - 3. In the last 10min of your cooking add the varoma with your egg mixture to cook.
Once completed remove egg which will now look similar to an omlette and cut into chunky squares. Add rice to your bowl of nori, drizzle with the oil toss through the egg and add your tinned fish. Serve immediatley, sprinkled with salt and the extra tamari. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
