It's looking so tasty
Just wondering if you can double the quantity of rice and still end up with the same result? Would you need to increase cooking time? Thanks
Waw! I haven't cooked rice in the Thermomix before or used the 'Varoma' cooking option, so was on edge the whole way through. Rice turned out really nice and fluffy. I felt it was slightly on the mushy side, but overall really good. I also added grated carrot, and cranberries at the end.
I can see this being a great method of cooking a rice pudding dish.
For those who are newer to Thermomix cooking like me, this did create a lot of steam, so just something to be aware of.
Thanks for the recipe, have saved it!
Perfect! That's it. Just perfect.
Rice cooked beautifully in 20 minutes. Thanks
most excellent. I added some grated carrot to the rice .
Amazing. I think this recipe has convinced my husband to get rid of the rice cooker.
