- 1 brown onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 bunch parsley, leaves, no stems
- 1/2 bunch fresh basil, leaves, no stems
- 1/2 red capsicum
- 1 stick Celery
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Bbq sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable stock
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 dash red wine, optional
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Put onion and garlic into mixing bowl and chop on Speed 7 for 3 seconds. Scrape down sides. Add oil and sauté for 1 min, Varoma, Speed 2.
Add parsley, basil, celery and capsicum and chop on Speed 3 for 7 seconds. Scrape down sides.
Add tomatoes, BBQ sauce, stock, dried oregano, Bay leaf, red wine and sugar. Cook for 30 mins, 100 degrees, reverse for 30 mins.
Can then keep it slightly chunky or blend on Speed ?7 for 30 seconds for a smoother consistency.
Serve over your favourite pasta.
