    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I made this and it was delicious. So delicious in fact that it didn't last very long at all. Didn't use as much much vinegar as stated but then I usually use these recipes as guides rather than gospel. Thank you for contributing the recipe and please don't be shut down by the astounding self-righteous pettiness of others. It's interesting/disappointing how seriously some people take themselves.

No Bec, thermofun hasn't been involved in the bullying at all, it's other people that have no interest in this what soever that are commenting without trying the recipe, pm'ing me here and on FB obviously out to hurt people as I have no other idea why they would need to get involved.  For your information, I actually played with 4 recipes, the one on RC (which seems to have been around a long time before thermofun, which in hindsight should have cloned), thermofun, superkitchen machine and a non-thermomix one that friend emailed me. This is certainly not a "copy and paste" as has been alleged.

I'm sorry but are you implying that someone asking you to cite the original source of this recipe (thermofun.com just in case anyone's wondering) as bullying?

i don't condone bullying but surely rectifying this VERY reasonable (and lawful) oversight would resolve this issue. Perhaps then your followers with questions could ask the creator of the recipe and have their issues resolved immediately (you know, because she designed it).

win win if you ask me.

This recipe is the best, so easy and I want it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! 5 star here!

Hi Cacher12, Sorry, I have been dealing with bullying and wasn't getting notifications. I have changed the recipe slightly and left the last cook step as optional.  I always use frozen bacon so I think maybe mine is more liquid due to that, I have made this 6 times with no dryness.

Too dry and thick. Original recipe must have been slightly different because it was divine. A friend gave me a jar in November and I decided to make my own. Spotted this recipe, looks very similar to what she said was in it,  but this one is very thick and chunky and dry, sorry. I am giving it 1 star because the idea is good but just not this particular version.
