I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place almonds in the TM bowl - chop 5sec/sp5 or until desired consistency is achieved (you can make this a chunky sauce or smooth as desired).

    Set aside

  2. Place chocolate cubes in the TM bowl - chop 5sec/sp6

    Scrape down sides of bowl

  3. Cook 2min30sec/50deg/sp1

  4. Add remaining ingredients - mix sp2 until well combined

Tip

This sauce can be used as a fruit dipping sauce, as a spread on biscuits or bread, or over ice cream.

I used dark chocolate with mine, I'm sure this would work just as well with milk chocolate though.

I used my own homemade yoghurt in this recipe - unsweetened. I guess you could use any natural or greek yoghurt.

VARIATIONS

1 - Replace the cinnamon with 2-3 tablespoons of liqueur (eg cointreau, kahlua, frangellico etc) and reduce the amount of milk to approx 2 tablespoons

2 - grate up some orange rind before the almonds and include that for a jaffa flavour
